After short drive from Saukkola, this road becomes very well known to me.
Second well know rest stop on the old highway 1 is Hiidenpirtti. It's situated by the scenic Hiidenvesi lake and it's a popular spot for travelers to take a break, enjoy some refreshments, and soak in the beautiful surroundings.
And just before we drive over the Highway 1 and enter Veikkola town, there is a remnant of old junction, that hasn't been in use quite while now and it is left mostly intact, but of course it has been blocked from the Highway side, so no one can't enter from there. It is now serving as bus stop.
