Saint Henry's way

Legend has it that peasant named Lalli murdered bishop of Finland on the ice of Lake Köyliö in the winter of 1156. And two centuries later people started doing pilgrimages to his murder site in Köyliö. This pilgrimage created the Saint Henry's way from Nousiainen to Köyliö.

This is the third part of the Saint Henry's way, known as connecting road 2131, which goes from Kankaanpää, Säkylä to Järvenpää, Säkylä and ends in National road 12.

And then we drive the road from north to south, straight in the sunshine.

Also Saint Henry's way travels across the National road 12, and is now as known connecting road 2142, for just about 2 km and ends in connecting road 2140.
